Tuesday night on Y99.3 the Clarksville Indian softball team won a wild, extra inning, State Quarterfinal game by the score of 7-6 in 8 innings over Akron-Westfield The Inidans came back from down 5-0 to take a 6-5 lead, then Akron-Westfield tied it in the 7th. In the 8th inning Chey Behrends made a heads up play to cut a runner off at the plate and then she hit a walk off inside the park home run on the first pitch of the bottom of the 8th.

In other State Tournament Softball games: Lisbon blanked Newell-Fonda 3-0, Collins-Maxwell beat Newman 5-2, Lynnville-Sully topped Wayne 9-4, North Linn hammered Ridge View 10-0, Northeast edged Central Springs 5-4, Louisa Muscatine beat Underwood 6-1, Ogden defeated Mount Ayr 5-2, Assumption destroyed Boyden-Hull-Rock Valley 15-0 and Williamsburg beat Algona 3-1.
