The Cedar Rapids Kernel’s players selected to the Midwest League’s All-Star game shined in an 11-10 loss for the Western Division All-Stars on Tuesday Night in Cedar Rapids. Second baseman Luis Arraez, center-fielder LaMonte Wade and catcher AJ Murray combined to go 4-6 at the plate with four RBI’s and three runs scored. Pitcher Sam Clay started the game and stuck out one batter in his only inning on the rubber.
