Tuesday night on Y99.3 the 5th ranked Dike-New Hartford Wolverine boys beat 7th ranked Denver 69-65. Denver’s Caylor Hoffer led all scorers with 20 points.
Tuesday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock girls beat Oelwein 63-15 to finish the Northeast Iowa Conference schedule undefeated. It was the Go-Hawk girls 23rd consecutive win over the Huskies.
Tuesday night in Oelwwin the Go-Hawk boys handled the Huskies 61-27 to get the season sweep.
Tuesday night in other boys basketball: Cedar Falls ran by Wahlert 85-60, Jesup beat Sumner-Fredericksburg 65-47 and Dubuque Senior topped Waterloo East 63-40.
In girls basketball: Cedar Falls edged Wahlert 58-54, Hudson topped AGWSR 55-41, Dubuque Senior beat Waterloo East 68-28 and Waterloo West dominated Hempstead 68-44.
