Thursday at the Boys State Basketball tournament the semifinal round wrapped up. In Class 4A Johnston beat Cedar Falls 64-51 and Waukee slammed Ames 71-36; in Class 3A Ballard topped Davenport Assumption 74-65 and Pella beat Sergeant Bluff-Luton 46-32; in Class 2A Boyden-Hull beat Aplington-Parkersburg 77-66 and Western Christian topped Des Moines Christian 56-47.
All four classes will have their championship games Friday in Wells Fargo Arena.
