Sunday on KWAY Country the Wartburg baseball team split with Central. The Knights took Game 1 5-0 behind Dylan Gotto’s 10 strikeouts in the 7 inning affair. In Game 2 Central squeaked out 7-5 in the 9 inning game. The series concludes Monday at Hertel Field.
Sunday the Wartburg softball team beat Simpson 9-1 to sweep the Storm on the weekend. Wartburg is now 13-3 on the season.
The Wartburg College volleyball team defeated Nebraska Wesleyan University 3-2 during the season finale to earn a share of the 2021 American Rivers Conference title. Wartburg and Coe shared the title. Former Go-Hawk Claire Marsh led the way in the win with 32 assists.
