Tuesday the Waverly-Shell Rock girls track and field team won the Go-Hawk Early Bird Invite with 111 points. Individual champs for the Go-Hawks were: Emma Hoins in the 1500 meter run, Reagan Dahlquist in the 100 meter hurdles and high jump, and the distance medley team of Mattie Janssen, Ava Folkerts, Marley Hagarty and Leah Cherry.
Reagan Dahlquist’s high jump of 5’5″ qualified her for the Drake Relays.
The Waverly-Shell Rock boys finished 3rd at the West Delaware Early Bird Meet. Individual champs were: Nick Kepford in the mile, Andrew Cummer in the 2 mile and the distance medley team.
