Thursday at State Track in Des Moines area athletes did well. Wapsie Valley’s Trevor Sauerbrei won the Class 1A 400 meter dash. Waverly-Shell Rock had great performances including Reagan Dahlquist finishing 4th in the Class 4A high jump and Emma Hoins placed 3rd in the 3,000 while Sydney Bochman was 13th in that race. Action at the Blue Oval continues today.
