A Charles City teenager has been sentenced in a violent home invasion case, according to KIMT. 18 year old Booker Wilder-Kapping was sentenced to 7 days in jail with credit for time served and two years of probation after pleading guilty to third degree criminal mischief and assault causing bodily injury. On February 6th he and Chriz Richard, also of Charles City, broke into a home, attacked the resident, and stole a safe. Richard previously pleaded guilty to attempted third degree burglary. He was sentenced to 87 days in jail with credit for time served. Wilder-Kapping will also have to complete substance abuse treatment and pay a $430 fine.
