Monday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock baseball team beat Humboldt 4-1. The Go-Hawks used a great outing from Carson Graven who struck out 10 while only allowing 3 hits and a run and the Go-Hawks got a State record 11th save from Ben Buseman.
Waverly-Shell Rock will play at Webster City Wednesday at 7:00 in the Substate Championship.
Monday night in Class 4A Cedar Falls upset Iowa City West 12-8 to advance to the Substate Championship where the Tigers will play Cedar Rapids Prairie Wednesday night.
