The American Rivers Coaches Poll tabbed Wartburg to finish 2nd in the volleyball standings in the preseason poll. The Knights received 4 first place votes while Coe received 3 first place votes but finished with 1 more point in the voting system to be placed slightly ahead of Wartburg in the poll.
