The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union released its Preseason Volleyball rankings and several area teams are ranked. In Class 1A Tripoli is 13th and Janesville is 15th; in Class 2A Denver is 2nd, Wapsie Valley is 5th, Sumner-Fredericksburg is 8th, and Columbus is 14th, in Class 4A Waverly-Shell Rock is ranked 2nd and in Class 5A Cedar Falls is 5th.
