Opening day off Ragbrai was marred by death of a bicycle rider. Iowa State Patrol says Seventy-two-year-old Wayne Ezell of Jacksonville, Florida was killed near Glenwood on Sunday morning. Organizers say that about 30 people have died in the event’s 44 year history, but most deaths are linked to medical problems.
