A cow got loose in Waverly Wednesday. The cow was originally loaded onto a trailer and was being transported to a farm outside of Waverly. When the driver got home he realized that he was missing one cow. The cow apparently was able to escape the trailer in Northwest Waverly and was able to work its way to Kohlmann Park. After a couple hours, the Waverly Police Department and several citizens were able to get the cow corralled back into the trailer. The cow has been safely transported to the farm. This is not the first time a cow has gotten loose in Waverly. The last time it ended in the cows death.
