Tuesday on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock girls basketball team ended its season at the State Basketball Tournament losing to 3-seeded Bishop Heelan 54-33 in the quarterfinals. The Go-Hawks were within 4 points at halftime but were outscored 34-17 in the second half.
The Go-Hawks finished the season 18-6 and champions of the Northeast Iowa Conference.
