Baseball is back! After more than three months of a stand-off the Major League players and owners have agreed on a deal to salvage the season with a new 5-year deal. Opening Day is now April 7th with the first week utilizing doubleheaders throughout the season to make the 162 game schedule possible. There will be expanded 12-team playoffs and designated hitters in both the American and the National Leagues.
