22nd ranked Wartburg softball went 1-1 in an American Rivers Conference opener against the University of Dubuque Spartans Sunday at home. The Knights won the first game in five innings, 14-5. The Knights had a late comeback in game two, falling 9-8 to Dubuque.
Sunday the UNI softball team fell in extra innings 6-3 to Evansdale. The game lasted nine innings.
