UNI libero Sydney Petersen has been named the Missouri Valley Conference’s Defensive Player of the Week. The selection marks Petersen’s first career honor from the MVC. Petersen previously earned a Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week nod on Sept. 16, 2019 while playing at the University of Texas.
