Tuesday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock basketball teams swept Crestwood. The 13th ranked Go-Hawks got 5 3-pointers and 21 points from Brenna Bodensteiner as they beat the Cadets 55-40. In the boys game the Go-Hawks hit a remarkable 17 3-pointers and Cole Marsh scored 26 points at they beat Crestwood 90-56. Both the girls and boys teams are undefeated in conference play going into the break.
Tuesday night on Y99.3 Clarksville swept Janesville. The Clarksville girls won 54-31 and the boys beat the Wildcats for the first time since 2011 63-40 as Eli Schmidt paced the Indians with 23 points.
In other girls basketball: Cedar Falls edged Western Dubuque 54-50 and Waterloo West topped Wahlert 65-48.
In boys basketball: Dunkerton crushed Don Bosco 98-52, Tripoli beat Nashua-Plainfield 61-57, Waterloo Christian ran over Riceville 95-63 and Waterloo West edged Wahlert 49-46.
