Girls at CP-U; Boys Won

Listen Tuesday evening to high school girls soccer on KWAY Country AM 1470 FM 96.3. Tuesday the 4-0 and 4th ranked Go-Hawk girls travel to Fross Park to take on the 3-0 9th ranked Center Point-Urbana Stormin’ Pointers. Pre-match at 4:45 and kickoff at 5:00.

Monday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock boys beat Northeast Iowa United 4-0. The Go-Hawks got a hat trick from Derek Bienemann and a goal from Ryan Lindner in the win. For United, a co-ed team of players from Sumner, Fredericksburg, Tripoli and Oelwein, it was their first match in program history not to end via the mercy rule. Northeast Iowa United is now 0-5 on the season and Waverly-Shell Rock is 3-3.
