Tuesday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock girls soccer team showed off their #1 ranking by beating Grinnell 10-0 in only 40 minutes. The Go-Hawks got two goals from Mia Englin and Anaka and Addie Ott as well as a goal each from Keiri Holmquist, Jailyn Kent, Gracie Abben and Anna Stromberg.
The Go-Hawks will play Xavier Thursday in Independence for a State Tournament berth. Prematch at 6:45 on KWAY Country AM 1470 FM 96.3.
