Monday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock baseball team split with New Hampton to remain in first place in the Northeast Iowa Conference standings. The Chickasaws took Game 1 9-7 and the Go-Hawks won Game 2 10-9 as Sam Roose got a walk-off single.
The Go-Hawks will be back in action Friday at Waukon on KWAY Country.
