Tuesday night on Y99.3 the Waverly-Shell Rock softball team split with Crestwood. The Cadets took the opener 9-5. In Game 2 the Go-Hawk stranded 15 runners and still managed to beat Crestwood 4-3 in 8 innings. Brittney Bodensteiner had the walk-off hit to drive in Emma Thompson.
Waverly-Shell Rock will be back in action Thursday at Decorah.
