A suspect arrested in a stolen gun investigation has been accused of spitting on officers and making life-threatening comments to them.
Police say they arrested Kristopher Spates Sunday night after making a traffic stop near Nevada and Mulberry streets.
Officers say they found a stolen gun on Spates, a gun connected to a burglary investigation from last year.
Spates has been charged with a number of things, including assault on an officer.
