The preseason d3football.com Top 25 poll is out and Wartburg has its highest ever preseason ranking. The Knights are 5th in the poll behind in ascending order: Trinity of Texas, Mary Hardin-Baylor, Mount Union and North Central Illinois.
Wartburg football can be heard all season long on KWAY Country AM 1470 FM 96.3 and kicks off the season September 2nd at 7:00 at home. Countdown to Kickoff Show always runs one hour prior to kick. Veteran play-by-play man Matt Ray and former Wartburg player and coach Scott Suhr will return to the mic.
