An Ankeny man accused of stealing from Target in Cedar Falls allegedly entered a restricted area at a National Guard facility near the Waterloo airport 12 hours later, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police say that 34 year old Michael Shock was charged with Trespassing after he allegedly hopped a barbed wire fence and then climbed underneath the main gate at the Army Aviation Support Facility around 11:30 p.m. Thursday. Waterloo police found him walking in front of the facility when they arrived. It is unclear what his motives were. He was released pending a court date despite earlier in the day allegedly changing into $115 worth of clothes, including underwear, at Target and walking out, leaving his old clothes behind. He was charged with misdemeanor Theft in that case.
