A bicyclist was struck by a vehicle in the 1300 block of Fairbank-Amish Boulevard in Buchanan County Tuesday afternoon, according to KWWL. Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene around 2:10 p.m. Their investigation found that the vehicle was traveling southbound when it struck the bicyclist along the edge of the roadway. The bicyclist was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Their condition is unknown at this time. Their identity has not yet been made public. The two people in the vehicle were uninjured. The crash remains under investigation.
