A Waterloo teen was hospitalized after being shot during an argument with his mother’s acquaintances, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The teen’s mother and her acquaintances arrived at the home around 11:35 p.m. Thursday. An argument ensued in which the 16 year old and one of the acquaintances drew handguns and fired. The teen was hit in the arm. He was taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics but is expected to survive. The man who shot the teen was not injured. No arrests have been made and investigators say that everyone is cooperating with the investigation.
