A person was hospitalized in Waterloo on Friday after shooting himself in the leg, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The man, who has not been named, was the passenger in a vehicle around 9:30 p.m. Friday when he shot himself in the thigh. The driver of the vehicle took him to Allen Hospital. His injuries do not appear to be life threatening and no charges have been filed.
