Waverly Christian School has hired their first Head of School as they attempt to launch a new faith-based school in Waverly. Fisher Woodley will begin in the role with the school on June 1st. He is currently the Creative Arts Pastor at Crosspoint Church. He will continue in that role on a part time basis. Waverly Christian is aiming to launch as an accredited, private school in the fall of 2025. Several things still need to happen before they launch however, including securing a location and deciding which grades will be offered. The school says they will hold several interest meetings throughout the Fall of this year.
