Hy-Vee has announced that their store on Logan Avenue in Waterloo will close permanently at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 23, according to KWWL. Senior Vice President of Communications, Tina Potthoff, says this store and one in Cedar Rapids, which will close on the same day, have not met financial expectations for the last several years. All employees will be offered a position at another store with the same pay rate and will retain their benefits. Pharmacy patients will receive an email with more information on where they can go in the future.
