Wednesday the Waverly-Shell Rock girls golf team qualified for the State Tournament for the first time in 31 years. The Go-Hawks shot a 362 to win the Regional at Webster City by 4 strokes. Go-Hawk Brenna Bodensteiner was the medalist with a 75. State is next Thursday and Friday at Pheasant Ridge in Cedar Falls.
