The Waverly Police arrested a suspicious male at the Middle School Wednesday afternoon. Police were called to the school around 1:15 p.m. They quickly located the man near 16th Street Southwest. The man, who has not been named, was given medical treatment and transferred to the Bremer County Jail. He has been charged with Public Intoxication. The police say there was no threat to the children, school, or the public.
