A Waterloo man has been arrested after leading police on a high speed chase on Wednesday, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. An officer noticed 40 year old Christopher Radke driving in the area of Conger Street and Grandview Avenue around 2:35 in the afternoon. The officer knew that Radke had an outstanding warrant for a parole violation. When he approached Radke, Radke took off, leading police on a chase through neighborhoods at speeds of over 50mph. He eventually lost police, however he was spotted walking in the area of Oakland and Leonard Avenues a short time later and was taken into custody. He was charged with Felony Eluding, Reckless Driving, and Interference. The warrant originally stemmed from a Burglary conviction in 2017.
