The City of Waverly has announced that the Memorial Park restrooms will be closed until further notice due to vandalism. The City says about a week ago there was widespread vandalism at Memorial Park, the Bremer County Fairgrounds, and the Waverly Municipal Golf Course. Due to repeated vandalism the bathrooms will be closed until further notice. Park patrons are encouraged to plan accordingly. The bathrooms in the Droste Shelter are still open. The City also reminds people if they see or hear anything suspicious to contact the Waverly Law Center’s non-emergency number.
