On June 6th, 2024, at approximately 7:36PM, Cedar Falls Public Safety Personnel were dispatched to the 2300 block of Erik Road after receiving reports of a motor vehicle accident. Officers learned that the accident was between a vehicle and a child. The child sustained minor injuries and was later transported, by personal vehicle, to a local hospital to be checked out. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured. Cedar Falls Public Safety was assisted by the Black Hawk County Consolidated Communication Center and Mercyone Paramedics.
The accident is currently under investigation.
