A Charles City man has been arrested after multiple pounds of methamphetamine were found in a car on I-35 during a traffic stop on Thursday, according to KIMT. A K9 indicated the presence of illegal narcotics in the vehicle. A search found a black bag that held roughly four pounds of meth. 45 year old Jeremy Scott, a passenger in the car, told law enforcement that everything in the car was his. He was charged with a Controlled Substance Violation and taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail. He is being held on a $25,000 cash only bond.
