The driver of an anhydrous ammonia tanker has died after crashing south of Hudson Tuesday, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. A Chevrolet Silverado allegedly failed to yield at the Tama Road intersection at which point the tanker clipped the truck, lost control and rolled into a ditch. A passerby who was first on the scene found the tanker driver to be unresponsive. He ultimately was pronounced dead. His identity has not yet been released. The driver of the pickup truck was unharmed. No chemicals were spilled in the crash.
