A pair of area softball players have been named to the Iowa Girls Coaches Association’s All State 1st Team. In Class 1A Emmalee Manwarren of Clarksville and in Class 3A Sumner-Fredericksburg-Tripoi’s Isabel Bernard have been honored as one of the top 24 players.
In Class 1A Kennedi McGarvey of Don Bosco made 2nd Team, Hannah Wangsness of Clarksville made 3rd Team and Clarksville’s Claire Lodge and Janesville’s Dani Hughes were named Honorable Mention.
In Class 2A Taylor Buhr and Peyton Curley of Wapsie Valley both made 3rd Team.
In Class 3A Jamie Jones of Sumner-Fredericksburg-Tripoli was named 2nd Team.
