Tuesday night the Class 4A 14th ranked Waverly-Shell Rock volleyball team began its season on the road at a quad. The Go-Hawks went 1-2. They lost to Grundy Center 2-0 with scores of 23-21 and 21-18, lost to AGWSR 2-1 with scores of 17-21, 21-14 and 15-3 and beat Hudson 2-1 with scores of 19-21, 21-16 and 17-15.
