Wednesday night in college volleyball Wartburg beat Dubuque in 5 sets. Emerson Kracht had a triple-double with 16 kills, 23 assists and 23 digs while Waverly native Sophie Sedgwick had 33 assists and 11 digs.
Wednesday in the A-R-C soccer tournament the Wartburg men edged Central 1-0 to advance to Saturday’s championship and the Wartburg women fell 1-0 to Simpson in the semifinals.
