Laura Tracy is a kindergarten teacher at North Butler. She was recently chosen as a finalist for Teacher of the Year in the state of Iowa.
Tracy was inspired to become a teacher by her grandfather, a German immigrant, and, as she tells us here, her 2nd grade teacher.
Mrs. Tracy says she loves to see childrens eyes light up when they discover new ideas.
