Three dogs and a rabbit were removed from a Waterloo home last weekend after they were allegedly found without food and water and in unsanitary conditions, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police executed a search warrant at the home of 29 year old Kevin Hampton II. They found a Pitbull in a kennel in the living room. It allegedly did not have food or water and its paws were stained with urine and feces. In the basement they allegedly found two more dogs described as a Pitbull type and an American Bully type. They also allegedly were found without food and water and among a large amount of urine and feces. In Hampton’s bedroom, police allegedly found a white rabbit in a cage with no food or water. The cage was also allegedly filled with urine and feces and there was mold growing inside the enclosure. Officers also found glass pipes that allegedly contained meth residue. Hampton was charged with four counts of Animal Neglect, Possession of Meth, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
