UNI Athletic Director Megan Franklin announced Monday that men’s basketball coach Ben Jacobson had been given a contract extension that will keep him in the post through the 2029-30 season. Jacobson is entering his 20th season at the helm of the program and is the winningest coach in team history with 374 victories, 4 regular season championships, 4 conference tournament crowns and 4 trips to the NCAA Tournament.
