Tuesday in boys cross country at Jesup the Denver Cyclones won as Jesse Gomez was 2nd, Myles Matthias was 4th and Caden Knoblock finished 8th. Waverly-Shell Rock finished in 5th place as Matthew Hommowun placed 11th individually.
Tuesday night on Y99.3 #1 ranked Denver volleyball swept Columbus 25-14, 25-8, 25-6. Cyclone star Bailey Mullihan eclipsed 1,000 career kills in the win and Columbus setter Lilly Fereday notched her 2,000th assist in the loss. Denver got their first ever NICL championship clinched with the win. Interestingly Denver got a State Title before an NICL Title.
