Thursday night on Y99.3 Denver and Dunkerton split a basketball doubleheader. In the girls game Class 1A 7th ranked Dunkerton upset Class 2A 2nd ranked Denver 49-38 as Hailey Kipp poured in 21 points. In the boys game Denver stayed unbeaten winning 67-55 behind 27 points from Jackson Joerger.
Thursday in high school bowling Waverly-Shell Rock swept Denver. The Go-Hawks girls won 1756-1385 and the boys beat the Cyclones 2523-2466.
