Thursday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock basketball teams split with Clear Lake.
In the girls game the undefeated and 6th ranked Go-Hawks gave 14th ranked Clear Lake their first loss of the season 58-23. In the win Lizzy Frazell scored a school record 36 points in just a little more than three quarters. She joins Morgan Neuendorf, Jen Green and Abbie Draper as the only Go-Hawk girls to scored more than 30 points in a game.
In the boys game 2nd ranked Clear Lake was only up 3 points going into the 4th quarter but won 55-42 to stay unbeaten. Waverly-Shell Rock boys are now 4-4.
