The Waverly-Shell Rock boys basketball season came to a close Thursday night on KWAY Country as Xavier beat the Go-Hawks 64-52 in the Sub-State Semifinals. Zander Murray of Xavier scored 37 points in the win and Go-Hawk Jayden Stephens scored 24 points. Waverly-Shell Rock was down by as many as 19 before cutting the lead to 5 before the Saints made one last run. The Go-Hawks finish the season with a 13-10 record.
