Thursday at the Boys State Basketball Tournament in semifinal action: Cedar Falls beat Dowling 59-46, Johnston topped Waukee 57-49, St. Edmond got over Notre Dame 74-55, Marquette Catholic beat MMCRU 65-56, Kuemper edged Treynor 58-57 and Unity Christian beat Regina 72-46.
The Championship Games are Friday in the Casey’s Center. At 1:00 Ballard and ADM battle for 3A glory, at 3:00 Cedar Falls plays Johnston for a 4A title, at 5:00 St. Edmond and Marquette for a 1A crown and at 7:00 Kuemper and Unity Christian play for the 2A championship.
