In the women’s tournament: Iowa State is the 8-seed and will play 9-seed Syracuse on Saturday at 4:30 and 2-seed Iowa will play 15-seed FDU on Saturday at 3:00.
Western Illinois women’s basketball won the OVC Conference Tournament and qualified for the NCAA Tournament. With that Katelyn Eggena becomes the first Waverly-Shell Rock girl to ever qualify for the Division-I NCAA Basketball Tournament.
