The women’s Division-I NCAA Tournament continues. At 1:00 Monday on ESPN 2-seed Iowa will host 10-seed Virginia in the second round. The Iowa women will try to join the men in the Sweet Sixteen.
Sunday night the 9-seeded Iowa men knocked off the returning champion and 1-seeded Florida Gators 73-72. Iowa was down two and hit a corner 3-pointer late to advance to their first Sweet Sixteen since 1999. The Hawkeyes will face Nebraska Thursday at 6:30 on TBS. These two teams split in the regular season.
